CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 83-543 RESOLUTION APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT CHANGING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR A 6.6 ACRE SITE LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF STONERIDGE DRIVE AND 1-680 ~HEREAS, at its meeting of December 6, 1983, the City Council received a proposed mitigated negative declaration for a General Plan amendment changing the land use designation for a 6.6 acre site located at the southwest corner of Stoneridge Drive and 1-680 from the "High Density Residential" to the "Medium Density Residential" District; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated September 19, 1983 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opDortunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the DroDosed General Plan amendment; and WHEREAS, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of mitigated negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that there may be significant impacts upon the environment, but that conditions of approval would render these potential impacts insignificant; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that based upon the review of the Initial Study, and the testimony and docu- mentary evidence presented at the public hearing that there may be significant impacts on the environment, but that conditions listed in Section 1 below as mitigations render these potential impacts insignificant; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves a Mitigated Negative Declaration for a General Plan amendment chan~in~ the land use designation for a 6.6 acre site located at the southwest corner of -1-
