CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 83-541 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT CHANGING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION ON APPROXIMATELY NINE ACRES AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF TAWNY DRIVE AND BERNAL AVENUE ~EREAS, at its meeting of December 6, 1983, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for a General Plan amendment changing the land use designation on aDDroximately nine acres at the northeast corner of Tawny Drive and Bernal Avenue from "Medium Density Residential" to "High Density Residential and Open SDace (Parks and Recreation)" District; and ~{EREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated October 19, 1983 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan change; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan amendment would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for a General Plan amendment changing the land use designation on aDDroxi- mately nine acres at the northeast corner of Tawny Drive and Bernal Avenue from "Medium Density Residential" to the "High Density Residential and Open SDace (Parks and Recreation)" District. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. -1-
