CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-521 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION P~GARDING TREATMENT CAPACITY FOR CASTLEWOOD <br /> <br />~EREAS, <br /> <br />Alameda County has made repeated requests for <br />Pleasanton to allocate sewer capacity to Castlewood; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />various studies have been completed or are under <br />way at this time regarding possible expansion of <br />sewage treatment capacity; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of November 22, 1983, the City <br />Council considered the County's recent request and <br />all information available regarding the City's <br />sewer capacity; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> The City Manager is instructed to write a letter <br />to the Alameda County Director of Public Works <br />stating the following: <br /> <br />Pleasanton does not have sufficient excess <br />capacity to allocate 92,000 GPD to Castlewood. <br /> <br />A total of 39,000 GPD capacity is now available <br />in Pleasanton's existing capacity for Castlewood. <br /> <br />That Pleasanton and DSRSD are initiating a <br />study to determine the best alternative to <br />provide the wastewater disposal needs of the <br />valley to the year 2000, and that capacity <br />for Castlewood will be included in the study <br />if requested by the County. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED NOVEMBER 22, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
