CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-519 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING REQUEST OF VINCENT AND JANET <br />DAVIS FOR ANNEXATION 6F PROPERTY AT 500 HAPPY <br />VALLEY ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council is in receipt of a letter from <br />Vincent and Janet Davis requesting annexation of <br />their DroDerty at 500 Happy Valley Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Director of Public Works and Utilities presented <br />his report (SR 83:510) to Council recommending denial <br />of this request as annexation is premature due to the <br />pending Happy Valley Annexation Study; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Council denies the request of Vincent and Janet <br /> Davis for initiation of annexation Droceedings for <br /> their property at 500 Happy Valley Road and advises <br /> them that their request for annexation will again <br /> be considered after completion of the HapDy Valley <br /> Annexation Study. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED NOVEMBER 22, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, ~ercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />TTEsT: <br /> Walke/r~Clerk ~_~,~,__ .
