CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-517 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF C & H DEVELOPMENT <br />OF A DECISION OF THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD DENYING <br />REVISED SIGN PROGRAM <br /> <br />~{EREAS, <br /> <br />C & H Development asked that it be allowed to install <br />three separate signs on the property at 915 Main <br />Street and 925 Main Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 26, 1983, the Design Review <br /> Board approved one additional sign only; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />within the time specified by the Ordinance Code, the <br />property owner submitted an appeal to the decision <br />of the Design Review Board denying the two additional <br />signs requested; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of November 22, 1983, the City Council <br />received a report dated November 15, 1983 from the <br />Director of Planning and Community Development together <br />with a copy of the Staff ReDort to the Design Review <br />Board regarding this matter; and <br /> <br />WItEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held on November 22, <br />1983 at which time applicant and any other member of <br />the public was given the opportunity to present evidence <br />regarding this appeal; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Denies the appeal of C & H Development of a decision <br /> of the Design Review Board which aDproved one additional <br /> sign and denied the other two proposed signs at 915 and <br /> 925 Main Street. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED NOVEMBER 22, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: None _~ <br /> <br /> <br />
