CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-506 <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT OF EASEmeNT FROM PRUDENTIAL <br />INSURANCE COMPANY FOR PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENTS <br />ALONG VARIOUS STREETS OVER CRABOT CANAL <br /> <br />~IEREAS, <br /> <br />the City is in receipt of a CorPoration Grant Deed <br />from Prudential Insurance Company of America to the <br />City of Pleasanton, a coPY of which is attached hereto <br />and incorporated herein by this reference, for street <br />right-of-way and public service easements within <br />Hacienda Business Park; and <br /> <br />~EREAS, <br /> <br />at its meetin~ of November 22, 1983, the City <br />Council received a report from the Director of <br />Public Works and Utilities indicating that the <br />acceptance of this deed is in the public interest; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> The Corporation Grant Deed from Prudential Insurance <br />Company of America to the City of Pleasanton for <br />public service easements over Chabot Canal is <br />hereby accepted and the appropriate City officers <br />are instructed to take whatever action necessary <br />to implement said acceptance. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />TItIS P~SOLUTION ADOPTED NOVEMBER 22, 1983 BY THE FOLLO1,YING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers <br /> Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />- Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> <br />By Doris <br /> <br />George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />Peter ~.
