WHEREAS , I~EREAS, WHEREAS, I,~IEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. B3-502 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT PREPARED AND FILED FOR AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY OF AMERICA AND CALLAHAN-PENTZ PROPERTIES, PLEASANTON TO REZONE TO THE PUD-INDUSTRIAL/COMMERCIAL AND OFFICES DISTRICT AND TO APPROVE A DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR A 573-ACRE BUSINESS PARK EAST OF HOPYARD ROAD AND NORTH OF THE ARROYO MOCHO (PUD-81-30) the Prudential Insurance Company of America and Callahan-Pentz Properties, Pleasanton applied for reapproval of a proposed rezoning to the PUD- Industrial/Commercial and Offices District and approval of a development plan for a 573-acre business park east of Hopyard Road and north of the Arroyo Mocho (PUD-81-30); and an Environmental Impact Report was prepared for this project's original submittal and approved by Council June 8, 1982 and this EIR was judicially upheld as complete and adequate; and it was determined that a SupDlemental EIR should be prepared for the reaDDroval application; and a Supplemental Environmental Impact ReDort has been prepared and circulated for comments, which have been received and resDonded to, and a Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Report prepared; and the original EIR and the Supplemental EIR comprise the EIR for the reapproval project; and following a public hearing, the Planning Commission on October 26, 1983 found the EIR had been completed in compliance with CEO~ and was adequate for the project, and so recommended to this Council; and the EIR has been distributed to this City Council for its review and consideration in conjunction with its review of the project; and a public hearing was held on November 8, 1983, at which time members of the public were offered an opportunity to present evidence regarding the environmental documents;
