CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALamEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 83-500 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE E.~r~IROB~,~ENTAL I~PACT REPORT PREPARED AND FILED FOR PROPOSED GENERAL PLAN GROWTH MANAGEMENT ELEMENT A~ENDMENT WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton applied for approval of a proposed amendment to the Growth Management Element of the General Plan; and IPHEREAS a Draft Environmental Impact Report was prepared and circulated for comments, which have been received and responded to, and a Final Environmental Impact Report prepared; and WHEREAS following a public hearing, the Planning Commission on October 26, 1983 found the Environmental Impact Report had been comDleted in compliance with CEQA and was adequate for the project, and so recommended to this Council; and WHEREAS the draft and final EIR have been distributed to this City Council for its review and consideration in conjunction with its review of the Droject; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on November 8, 1983, at which time members of the public were offered an opportunity to present evidence regarding the environ- mental documents; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Council certifies, after having reviewed and considered the material in the Environmental Impact Report, that the Environmental ImPact Report for the proposed Growth Management Element amendment has been completed in comDliance with the California Environmental Quality Act and state and city ~uidelines. Section 2: Council certifies that the Environmental Impact Report prepared is complete, sufficient, and acceptable for the amendment to the Growth Management Element of the General Plan, and that this Environmental ImDact Report has been reviewed and considered prior to this Council taking action on the project. Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
