CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALamEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-500 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE E.~r~IROB~,~ENTAL I~PACT <br />REPORT PREPARED AND FILED FOR PROPOSED GENERAL <br />PLAN GROWTH MANAGEMENT ELEMENT A~ENDMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton applied for approval of a <br />proposed amendment to the Growth Management Element <br />of the General Plan; and <br /> <br />IPHEREAS <br /> <br />a Draft Environmental Impact Report was prepared and <br />circulated for comments, which have been received <br />and responded to, and a Final Environmental Impact <br />Report prepared; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />following a public hearing, the Planning Commission <br />on October 26, 1983 found the Environmental Impact <br />Report had been comDleted in compliance with CEQA <br />and was adequate for the project, and so recommended <br />to this Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />the draft and final EIR have been distributed to <br />this City Council for its review and consideration <br />in conjunction with its review of the Droject; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a public hearing was held on November 8, 1983, at <br />which time members of the public were offered an <br />opportunity to present evidence regarding the environ- <br />mental documents; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: Council certifies, after having reviewed and <br /> considered the material in the Environmental Impact <br /> Report, that the Environmental ImPact Report for <br /> the proposed Growth Management Element amendment <br /> has been completed in comDliance with the California <br /> Environmental Quality Act and state and city ~uidelines. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br /> Council certifies that the Environmental Impact <br />Report prepared is complete, sufficient, and acceptable <br />for the amendment to the Growth Management Element of <br />the General Plan, and that this Environmental ImDact <br />Report has been reviewed and considered prior to this <br />Council taking action on the project. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
