CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 83-483 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING 1983-84 POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />BUDGET BY $47,000 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />in order to increase drug enforcement, it is necessary <br />to add one officer and one sergeant to the Dolice <br />department staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at the Executive Session of the Council meeting <br />October 25, 1983, various options and DroDosals <br />were discussed; <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: The 1983-84 budget of the Police Department is <br /> increased by the sum of $47,000 to cover the cost <br /> of an additional sergeant and officer to be assigned <br /> to drug enforcement. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 25, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> <br /> Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />ROBERT E.
