CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-475 <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT DEED FROM ROBERT E. MEYER <br />TO CITY OF PLEASANTON FOR RIGHTS-OF-WAY FOR <br />PUBLIC STREETS <br /> <br />~EREAS, <br /> <br />the City is in receipt of a Grant Deed from Robert <br />E. Meyer to the City of Pleasanton for those parcels <br />of land designated as Stoneridge Drive, Hopyard Road, <br />Bradley Drive, Johnson Drive, Morse Drive and <br />Franklin Drive as shown on Parcel Map 3769, a copy <br />of said deed is attached hereto and incorporated <br />herein by this reference; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of October 25, 1983, the City <br />Council received a report from the City Attorney <br />indicating that the acceDtance of this deed is in <br />the public interest; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The Grant Deed from Robert E. Meyer to the City <br /> of Pleasanton for fee simple title to lands designated <br /> as public streets is hereby accepted and the <br /> appropriate City officers are instructed to take <br /> whatever action necessary to implement said acceptance. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective inmnediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 25, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> ROBE BUTLER, MAYOR <br /> <br />By Doris George, DePuty City Clerk <br /> <br />Peter D.
