CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 83-456 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING REQUEST FOR ANNEXATION OF <br />CAROLINE PROPERTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council received a request from John Caroline <br />for annexation of his approximately two acres located <br />on the north side of Vineyard Avenue; and <br /> <br />I~HEREAS, <br /> <br />the Council concludes that annexation of this property <br />would cause service problems due to the inadequacies <br />of the streets and utilities in the entire "Remen <br />Tract" area and would not be a logical expansion of <br />the City boundaries at this time; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Denies the request of John Caroline for annexation <br /> of his property on Vineyard Avenue. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 11, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> <br /> Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: R~.~B~IT~ <br /> ROBE <br /> <br />B D G D <br /> y oris eorge, eputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> <br />
