CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-454 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE 1984 GROWTH MANAGD~NT <br />PROGRAM TARGET NUMBER OF DWELLING UNITS TO BE <br />CONSTRUCTED AND OTHER PARAMETERS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Growth Management Program requires the yearly <br />setting of a target number for residential dwelling <br />units to be constructed, the number set aside for <br />lower income units, those units available to <br />smaller projects, as well as establishing the <br />guidelines for the yearly selection of smaller <br />projects; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Co~acil has received a staff report <br />containing recommendations for the Growth Manage- <br />ment Program parameters requiring yearly determination <br />by the City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant to the Growth Management Program Ordinance, <br />a public hearing was held at which public testimony <br />was heard considering these matters; and <br /> <br />~EREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has considered the General Plan <br />growth rate policy, the number of units approved <br />in long-term agreements, previously authorized but <br />undeveloped units, prior years' authorized units, <br />and the comments received at the public hearing; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds its determinations listed <br /> below meet the General Plan goals and policies; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: That 529 dwelling units be set as the 1984 target <br /> number of units desired to be constructed, not <br /> including dwelling units which are exempt pursuant <br /> to Section 2-20.04. <br /> <br />Section 2: That no additional dwelling units be set aside <br /> for lower-income housing. <br /> <br />Section 3: That no additional dwelling units be set aside for <br /> long-term agreements other than the 429 dwellin~ units <br /> already provided for in existing long-term agreements. <br /> <br />Section 4: That the allocation for smaller projects be set <br /> at 100 dwelling units. <br /> <br /> <br />
