CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 83-453 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS FOR INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL AND RELATED ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS AT 1-580 AND HOPYARD ROAD INTERCHANGE WHEREAS, an agreement was entered into on January 11, 1983 between the City of Pleasanton and the City of Dublin regarding the installation of traffic signals at Hopyard/Dougherty and at the HoDyard/I-580 interchange; and WHEREAS, the above improvements are part of the conditions of approval for Hacienda Business Park, which will be funded by Prudential and ultimately acquired by the North Pleasanton Assessment District; and WHEREAS since the project is located within the Caltrans right-of-way, a project report must be reviewed and approved by Caltrans prior to the City applying for an encroachment permit to construct the project; and WttEREAS the last items needed for the project report are Council's review of the project and the making of the necessary environmental findings; and WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating no significant adverse effects on the environment, a negative declaration was adopted by Council on October 11, 1983; and WHEREAS a duly noticed public hearing was held on October 11, 1983; and WHEREAS Council reviewed the recommendations of the Director of Public Works and Utilites in his report dated October 5, 1983; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Authorizes staff to pursue the approval of the Project Report for the installation of traffic signals at the 1-580 and Hopyard Road interchange by Caltrans, and, as soon as possible, after Caltrans approval, return with construction Dlans for City Council review and aDproval.
