CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 83-451 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />THE FOOTHILL RESERVOIR SITE IMPROVEMENT WORK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />one of the most needed improvements to the City's <br />water system is the proposed Foothill Reservoir, <br />to be located in the hills near Stoneridge Drive <br />and Foothill Boulevard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Camp, Dresser & McKee, Inc. prepared a report for <br />the preliminary type and sizing of the Foothill <br />Reservoir and Council approved the conceptual <br />design for an 8 million gallon reservoir on June <br />22, 1983; and <br /> <br />WHEP~AS, <br /> <br />the Director of Public Works and Utilities, by his <br />report dated October 6, 1983, advised the City <br />Council that plans and specifications had been <br />completed for the proposed Reservoir and that said <br />plans had been reviewed by staff; and <br /> <br />I~HEREAS, <br /> <br />based on the Initial Environmental Study, a mitigated <br />negative declaration was adopted by Council on <br />October 11, 1983; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held on October 11, <br />1983 at which time the public was given the opportunity <br />to comment on the environmental impacts of the <br />proposed project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that this project is consistent <br />with the General Plan policies of the City of <br />Pleasanton; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: Approves the plans and specifications for the <br /> Foothill Reservoir site improvement work, subject <br /> to the following conditions: <br /> <br />The final design for the project shall provide <br />adequate provisions for dust and erosion <br />controls during construction. <br /> <br />That construction activities be limited to <br />daytime hours only, during Deriods approved <br />by the City Engineer. <br /> <br /> <br />
