CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 83-448 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL OF <br />CASE Z-83-193, APPLICATION OF CALLAHAN-PENTZ <br />PROPERTIES <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />Callahan-Pentz Properties have applied for desiKn <br />review approval of a three building office/industrial <br />complex on the approximately 11.5 acre site located <br />northwest of Tassajara Creek between Gibralter Drive <br />and Stoneridge Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />zoning for the Droperty is I-P (Industrial Park) <br />District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the project site is within the boundaries of the <br />Hacienda Business Park, a 573 acre project for <br />which an EIR has been completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at their duly noticed public hearing of October 11, <br />1983, the City Council considered all public <br />testimony, pertinent documents and recormnendations <br />made by the City staff; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEAS~TON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council has read and considered the <br /> Environmental Impact Report (EIR) prepared for the <br /> overall Hacienda Business Park Project. The <br /> Hacienda Business Park Project EIR included environ- <br /> mental analysis on this site's development in <br /> essentially the manner proposed in this application. <br /> <br />Section 2: Based upon the Initial Study, the City Council <br /> finds that the cumulative environmental effects of <br /> this project are similar in nature to those discussed <br /> in the Hacienda Business Park Project EIR and that <br /> the Hacienda Business Park Project EIR adequately <br /> covers the environmental impacts of this project; <br /> in fact, the Hacienda Business Park Project EIR <br /> overstates the potential impacts because the full <br /> Hacienda Business Park cannot be built without a <br /> General Plan change. <br /> <br />Section 3: To the extent that there may have been any <br /> potentially significant environmental effects of <br /> this discrete project, the conditions Of approval <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
