CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-444 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLA- <br />RATION FOR PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL OF A 204 <br />UNIT RESIDENTIAL PROJECT LOCATED ON APPROXIMATELY <br />24 ACRES AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF SANTA RITA <br />ROAD AND VALLEY AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />at its meeting of October 11, 1983, the City <br />Council received a proposed mitigated negative <br />declaration for PUD-83-1~, the application of Morrison <br />Homes for development plan approval for a 204 unit <br />residential development proposed for the 24.4 acre <br />site located at the northeast corner of Santa Rita <br />Road and Valley Avenue, which is the last phase of <br />the Heritage Valley planned unit development; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated September 16, 1983 and received <br />the recommendations of the staff and Planning <br />Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br />time the public was given the opportunity to <br />cormnent on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of mitigated <br />negative declarations and environmental impact <br />reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Initial Study prepared by the City staff <br />indicated that there may be significant impacts <br />upon the environment, but that conditions of <br />approval would render these potential impacts <br />insignificant; and <br /> <br />I,IHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that based upon the review <br />of the Initial Study, and the testimony and docu- <br />mentary evidence presented at the public hearing <br />that there may be significant impacts on the <br />environment, but that conditions listed in Section <br />1 below as mitigations render these potential <br />impacts insignificant; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />- RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
