CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 83-444 RESOLUTION APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLA- RATION FOR PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL OF A 204 UNIT RESIDENTIAL PROJECT LOCATED ON APPROXIMATELY 24 ACRES AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF SANTA RITA ROAD AND VALLEY AVENUE WHEREAS at its meeting of October 11, 1983, the City Council received a proposed mitigated negative declaration for PUD-83-1~, the application of Morrison Homes for development plan approval for a 204 unit residential development proposed for the 24.4 acre site located at the northeast corner of Santa Rita Road and Valley Avenue, which is the last phase of the Heritage Valley planned unit development; and WHEREAS the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated September 16, 1983 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to cormnent on the environmental impacts of the proposed development plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of mitigated negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that there may be significant impacts upon the environment, but that conditions of approval would render these potential impacts insignificant; and I,IHEREAS, the City Council finds that based upon the review of the Initial Study, and the testimony and docu- mentary evidence presented at the public hearing that there may be significant impacts on the environment, but that conditions listed in Section 1 below as mitigations render these potential impacts insignificant; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON - RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
