I~flEREAS, WttEREAS I.IHEREAS ~,~{EREAS WHEREAS WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 83-443 RESOLUTION APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLA- RATION FOR DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL AND PUD ZONING FOR A 180 LOT RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT ON APPROXIMATELY 38 ACRES LOCATED WEST AND NORTH OF THE EXISTING TERMINUS OF tLANSEN DRIVE JUST EAST OF THE 1-680 RIGHT-OF-WAY at its meeting of October 11, 1983, the City Council received a proposed mitigated negative declaration for the aDplication of Ponderosa Homes for PUD zoning and development plan approval of a 180 lot residential development project on approximately 38 acres located west and north of the existing terminus of Hansen Drive just east of the 1-680 right-of-way; and the City Council has received and reviewed the Initia% Study dated September 16, 1983 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed development plan; and the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of mitigated negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that there may be significant impacts upon the environment, but that conditions of approval would render these potential impacts insignificant; and the City Council finds that based upon the review of the Initial Study, and the testimony and docu- mentary evidence presented at the public hearing that there may be significant impacts on the environment, but that conditions listed in Section 1 below as mitigations render these potential impacts insignificant; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
