CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 83-432 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AGFZEMENT WITH WILBUR SMITH <br />AND ASSOCIATES FOR TRAFFIC STUDY RELATED TO ACCESS <br />NEEDS FOR SPORTS PARK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Transportation Subcommittee, the Industrial <br />General Plan Review Committee and the Park and <br />Recreation Commission have all agreed that a <br />traffic study is necessary to determine the <br />vehicular and pedestrian access needs for the <br />Sports Park and the Parkside Subdivision; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />staff has contacted the finn of Wilbur Smith and <br />Associates, Inc. to discuss the scope of work and <br />they have submitted a proposal for the traffic <br />study; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Council hereby accepts the proposal dated September 30, <br /> 1983 submitted by Wilbur Smith and Associates, <br /> Inc. and authorizes the Mayor to execute an aDpropriate <br /> contract for the work. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes a supplemental appropriation of <br /> $5,800 from the 1983-84 Operating Budget to cover <br /> the cost of the traffic study. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 11, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None .~BUT~ <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> TEST: <br /> R ER <br /> <br /> · ker, ClerR <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
