CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-427 <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF SANITARY SEI^~R LINE REPLACEMENT <br />ON VARIOUS CITY STREETS, PROJECT NO. 83-9, AND <br />APPROVAL OF FINAL PROGRESS PAYMENT TO ALDRICH <br />BROTHERS PIPELINE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />work by Aldrich Brothers Pipeline on the sanitary <br />sewer line replacement on various city streets, <br />Project No. 83-9, has been satisfactorily completed; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the sanitary sewer line replacement <br /> on various city streets is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare <br /> a warrant in the amount of $27,120.60 in favor of <br /> Aldrich Brothers Pipeline in satisfaction of the <br /> final progress payment for the above-accepted work <br /> on Project No. 83-9. Ten percent (10%) of the <br /> total contract or $4,217.20 will be retained until <br /> thirty (30) days after filing of the Notice of <br /> Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice <br /> of Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 11, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE <br /> <br />AYES Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> <br />
