CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-426 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASE OF XEROX COPY <br />MACHINE FOR POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />in connection with the move to new facilities, <br />Police Department proposed to purchase a new <br />photocopy machine; and <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />after obtaining quotes from several companies, <br />the Xerox 1045 was determined to be the most <br />desirable equipment; and <br /> <br />~rIEREAS, <br /> <br />due to increased interest rates, it is necessary <br />to amend the Operating Budget for the Police <br />Department for purchase of the above item; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> The City Council approves the lease purchase of <br />a Xerox 1045 photocopy machine for the Police <br />Department, and authorizes the appropriate city <br />officials to execute the necessary documentation <br />for such lease purchase. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br /> Amends the 1983-84 Operating Budget for the <br />Police Department be appropriating an additional <br />$8,526.48 for the purchase of the Xerox 1045. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />1983 BY THE FOLLOWING <br /> <br />Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 11, <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, <br /> Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />P~ter D. ~acDo~ald, Cit~ttorney <br /> <br /> <br />
