CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-416 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF MEYER <br />PROPERTIES FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL FOR TWO <br />OFFICE BUILDINGS AND RELATED FACILITIES ON THE <br />WEST SIDE OF HOPYARD ROAD SOUTH AND NORTH OF THE <br />INTERSECTION OF MORSE DRIVE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Meyer Properties has applied for design approval <br />for an approximately 101,500 sq. ft. three-story <br />office building and related facilities and an <br />approximately 162,385 sqo ft. five-story office <br />building and related facilities on the west side <br />of Hopyard Road south and north of the intersection <br />of Morse Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a mitigated negative declaration was prepared for <br />the PUD on the subject property (PUD-80-16) including <br />the typical architectural and site designs for <br />individual lots, and there are no changed circum- <br />stances or new information requiring additional <br />environmental review; therefore, this application <br />does not constitute a new project under CEQA and <br />no new environmental documents accompany this <br />application; and <br /> <br />~MEREAS, <br /> <br />in order to meet the height requirements of PUD-80-16, <br />the plans for the five-story building have been revised <br />to lower the building to four stories, 59 feet at the <br />parapet; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a public hearing was held on September 27, 1983 <br />and testimony taken concerning the proposed project <br />including its design and consistency with PUD-80-16 <br />and the General Plan; and <br /> <br />~EREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has found that the project is <br />consistent with PUD-80-16 as well as the City's <br />General Plan; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the application of Meyer Properties for <br /> design approval for an approximately 101,500 sq. <br /> ft. three-story office building and related facilities <br /> and an approximately 162,385 s~. ft. four-story <br /> office building, 59 feet in he{ght at the top of the <br /> parapet with equipment screening as shown in the <br /> revised plan, and related facilities on the west <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
