CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-415 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF A DECISION OF THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD APPROVING <br />DESIGN PLANS FOR A FOUR-UNIT STUDIO APARTMENT <br />COMPLEX AT 4834 HARRISON STREET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Charles Chesterman applied for design review <br />approval to construct a fourunit studio apartment <br />complex to be located behind the existing residence <br />at 4834 Harrison Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Design Review Board apDroved the design Dlans <br />of the applicant after considering public testimony <br />and documents presented at its meeting of August 24, <br />1983; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />this decision was appealed by the City Council for <br />further review of the application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a public hearing was held on September 27, 1983, <br />at which time the public was given an opportunity <br />to comment on this application; and <br /> <br />~EREAS, <br /> <br />this project is categorically exempt under CEQA <br />and no environmental document accompanies this <br />Case; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> The City Council denies the appeal of the decision <br />of the Design Review Board and therefore grants <br />design approval for construction of a four-unit <br />studio apartment complex to be located behind the <br />existing residence at 4834 Harrison Street, subject <br />to the conditions on Exhibit "A", attached hereto <br />and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 27, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING <br /> VOTE <br /> <br /> AYES Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Butler <br /> NOES None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br />/B~ Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
