CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 83-407 <br /> <br />APPROVING CLAIMS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST, 1983 <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,671,355.23 <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />at the City Council meeting of September 27, 1983, a <br />check register summary and Financial Report were <br />presented to the City Council signifying expenditures <br />for the month of August, 1983; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the payroll and demand checks contained therein <br />were for approved functions of the City of Pleasanton <br />which are necessary and proper expenses of the <br />City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Claims represented by Checks Nos. 043131 to 043564 <br />dated from August 4, 1983 to August 31, 1983, in <br />the total amount of $1,671.355.23 are hereby <br />approved. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Financial Report dated August 31, 1983, has <br /> been reviewed and approved by the City Council. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall be effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 27, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE <br /> <br />AYES <br /> <br />NOES <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Councilmembers <br />Mayor Butler <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />- Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> <br />ATTEST: ' ROBE <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />Pe~t~.
