CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 83-401 RESOLUTION APPROVING REVISED PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR NECESSARY POND RESTORATION OF SAN FRANCISCO WATER DEPARTMENT PROPERTY, AUTHORIZE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE LAND USE PERMIT, AUTHORIZE ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION OF $50,000 FOR SANITARY SEWER CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 82--14 WHEREAS, the City's lease of City and County of San Francisco Water Department property for sewage effluent ponding and spraying called for restoration of the area to the condition it was before our use; and WHEREAS, additional restoration work is necessary to comply with the lease conditions; and WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities, by his report dated September 22, 1983, advised the City Council that plans and specifications have been completed for the required restoration work; and WHEREAS, in order to have the work completed economically it is necessary to reject all bids received on September 20, 1983 and authorize the work to be performed by day labor; and WHEREAS , as a condition of approval of this project by San Francisco, the proposed Land Use Permit extension will require the payment of a monthly permit fee of $500.00 per month, commencing retroactively to April 13, 1982; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Rejects all bids received on September 20, 1983. Section 2. Authorizes completion of this work by day labor. Section 3. Authorizes the appropriation of $50,000 to add to the Sewer Capital Improvement Project No. 82-14 for a total appropriation of $70,000 for this work and the lease payments. Section 4. Approves the revised plans and specifications dated September 12, 1983 for the restoration work required by the lease. Section 5. Authorizes the City Manager to execute the attached Land Use Permit and approve payment of required fees. Section 6. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
