CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 83-391 RESOLUTION APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR PUD MODIFICATION AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION OF AN APPROXIMATELY 8,400 SQ. FT. DAYCARE FACILITY ON .8 ACRES LOCATED AT THE SOUTHV~ST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF BROCKTON DRIVE AND PIMLICO DRIVE WHEREAS at its meeting of September 13, 1983, the City Council received a Droposed mitigated negative declaration for PUD'modification and development plan approval to allow for the construction of an approximately 8,400 sq. ft. daycare facility on an approximately .8 acre site, located at the south- west corner of the intersection of Brockton Drive and Pimlico Drive (realigned); and WHEREAS the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated August 2, 19B3 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WI{EREAS a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed development plan; and I~HEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of mitigated negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that there may be significant impacts upon the environment, but that conditions of approval would render these potential imDacts insignificant; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that based upon the review of the Initial Study, and the testimony and docu- mentary evidence presented at the public hearing that there may be significant impacts on the environment, but that conditions listed in Section 1 below as mitigations render these potential impacts insignificant; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
