CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-391 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR PUD MODIFICATION AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL TO <br />ALLOW CONSTRUCTION OF AN APPROXIMATELY 8,400 SQ. FT. <br />DAYCARE FACILITY ON .8 ACRES LOCATED AT THE SOUTHV~ST <br />CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF BROCKTON DRIVE AND <br />PIMLICO DRIVE <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />at its meeting of September 13, 1983, the City <br />Council received a Droposed mitigated negative <br />declaration for PUD'modification and development <br />plan approval to allow for the construction of an <br />approximately 8,400 sq. ft. daycare facility on <br />an approximately .8 acre site, located at the south- <br />west corner of the intersection of Brockton Drive <br />and Pimlico Drive (realigned); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated August 2, 19B3 and received <br />the recommendations of the staff and Planning <br />Commission; and <br /> <br />WI{EREAS <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br />time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />development plan; and <br /> <br />I~HEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of mitigated <br />negative declarations and environmental impact <br />reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Initial Study prepared by the City staff <br />indicated that there may be significant impacts <br />upon the environment, but that conditions of <br />approval would render these potential imDacts <br />insignificant; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that based upon the review <br />of the Initial Study, and the testimony and docu- <br />mentary evidence presented at the public hearing <br />that there may be significant impacts on the <br />environment, but that conditions listed in Section <br />1 below as mitigations render these potential <br />impacts insignificant; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
