CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-383 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION OF FOOTHILL <br />HIGH SCHOOL BAND BOOSTERS FOR PARADE PEtMIT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of September 13, 1983, the City <br />Council received a report dated September 7, 1983 <br />from the Assistant to the City Manager regarding <br />an application from the Foothill Band Boosters <br />for a permit to hold the annual band review parade <br />on October 22, 1983; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />staff has recommended that the City Council approve <br />the application; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the application by the Foothill HiEh <br /> School Band Boosters for a permit to hold the annual band <br /> review parade on October 22, 1983, to be held in the City <br /> of Pleasanton as more particularly delineated in the report <br /> of the Assistant to the City Manager dated SeDtember 7, <br /> 1983, subject to all conditions set forth by the Police <br /> Department. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City budget for fiscal year 1983-84 is amended <br /> by allocating $1,735 necessary to pay for costs incurred <br /> for city personnel associated with the parade. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 13, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Wood <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr and Mayor Butler <br /> <br />ATTEST: ROBERT~.~~BUTLER,~~yR <br /> D%p ty Ity c erk <br /> <br /> M D <br />Peter D.' ac onald, City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
