CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-381 <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT DEED FROM EXXON CORPORATION <br />FOR IMPROVEmeNTS OF SA~!TA RITA ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City is in receipt of a Grant Deed from Exxon <br />Corporation to the City of Pleasanton for a right-of- <br />way necessary for improvements to Santa Rita Road <br />along the Exxon proDerty located at the southeast <br />corner of Santa Rita Road and West Las Positas; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of September 13, 1983, the City <br />Council received a report from the Director of <br />Public Works and Utilities indicating that the <br />acceptance of this deed is in the public interest; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: The Grant Deed from Exxon Corporation to the <br /> City of Pleasanton for a right-of-way necessary <br /> for improvements to Santa Rita Road is hereby <br /> accepted and the appropriate City officers are <br /> instructed to take whatever action necessary to <br /> implement said acceptance. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED SEPTemBER 13, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Wood <br />ABSTAIN: None ~R <br />ATTEST: <br /> ROBER <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />Peter D.
