CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFOrnIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-379 <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF SLURRY SEALING 0N VARIOUS CITY <br />STREETS, PROJECT N0.83-8, AND APPROVAL OF FINAL <br />PROGRESS PAYMENT TO McREYNOLDS PAVING COMPANY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />work by McReynolds Paving Company on the slurry <br />sealing of various city streets, Project No. 83-8, <br />has been satisfactorily completed; and <br /> <br />WtlEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the slurry sealing on various city <br /> streets is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare <br /> a warrant in the amount of $31,676.01 in favor of <br /> McReynolds Paving Company in satisfaction of the <br /> final progress payment for the above-accepted work <br /> on Project No. 83-8. Ten percent (10%) of the <br /> total contract or $3,519,56 will be retained until <br /> thirty (30) days after filing of the Notice of <br /> Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice <br /> of Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 13, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Wood <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> FORM: <br /> <br /> ac ona , City ttorney <br /> <br /> <br />
