CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />PZSOLUTION NO. 83-373 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REJECTING BID FOR KOTTINGER DRIVE AND <br />KOTTINGER PARK STORM DRAIN IMPROVEMENTS, PROJECT <br />NO. 83-11, AND AUTHORIZING CALLING FOR NEW BIDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on August 23, 1983, Council approved Dlans and <br />specifications for the improvements to Kottinger <br />Drive and Kottinger Park storm drainage; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, only one bid was received and that bid was sub- <br /> stantially over the Engineer's Estimate; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Council hereby rejects the bid of Balanco Corpo- <br /> ration for Project No. 83-11. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes staff to readvertise the project at a <br /> reduced scope. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 13, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr and Mayor <br /> Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Wood <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Peter D.
