CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-369 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION OF CHAMBER OF <br />COMMERCE FOR PARADE PERMIT FOR HERITAGE DAYS <br />PARADE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of August 23, 1983, <br />received a report dated August 23, 1983, from the <br />Assistant to the City Manager regarding an application <br />from the Chamber of Commerce for a permit to hold the <br />annual Heritage Days parade on September 17, 1983; and <br /> <br />~{EREAS, staff has recommended that the City Council apDrove <br /> the application; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> Approves the application by the Chamber of Commerce <br />for a permit to hold the annual Heritage Days parade <br />on September 17, 1983, to be held in the City of <br />Pleasanton as more particularly delineated in the <br />report of the Assistant to the City Manager dated <br />August 23, 1983, subject to all conditions set forth <br />by the Police Department in Section IV of that report. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City budget for fiscal year 1983-84 is amended <br /> by allocating $1,200.00 necessary to pay for costs <br /> incurred for city personnel associated with the parade. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 23, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Mercer, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: Councilmember Brandes <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None ~ ~ <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />~ier D. ~acDona~, ' CitV Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
