CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-366 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSED PETITION WITH ITS <br />ATTACHED DESCRIPTION OF WORK AND TENTATIVE BOUNDARY <br />MAP IN CONNECTION WITH NORTH PLEASANTON WATER <br />SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS - ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. <br />1983-3 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />several studies have been prepared indicating <br />Pleasanton's water system needs based on expected <br />development in the North Pleasanton area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Council has indicated that the necessary <br />improvements should be financed by an Assessment <br />District; and <br /> <br />I/MEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of August 23, 1983, Council reviewed <br />the draft wording for the petition for formation <br />of the Assessment District along with the proposed <br />boundary map and description of work; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: Council hereby approves the proposed petition <br /> with its attached Description of Work and tentative <br /> boundary map, a copy of which is attached hereto <br /> and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: Staff is directed to send copies of the petition <br /> to all affected property owners requesting that <br /> they sign and return the petition. <br /> <br />Section 3: Staff is further directed to continue to negotiate <br /> with Prudential for possible advance construction <br /> of facilities, as described in staff report 83:348. <br /> <br />Section 4: Staff is further directed to report to the <br /> Council on the status of petition signatures <br /> further negotiations as appropriate. <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Section 5: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 23, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
