CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 83-366 RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSED PETITION WITH ITS ATTACHED DESCRIPTION OF WORK AND TENTATIVE BOUNDARY MAP IN CONNECTION WITH NORTH PLEASANTON WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS - ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1983-3 WHEREAS, several studies have been prepared indicating Pleasanton's water system needs based on expected development in the North Pleasanton area; and WHEREAS, the Council has indicated that the necessary improvements should be financed by an Assessment District; and I/MEREAS, at its meeting of August 23, 1983, Council reviewed the draft wording for the petition for formation of the Assessment District along with the proposed boundary map and description of work; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Council hereby approves the proposed petition with its attached Description of Work and tentative boundary map, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. Section 2: Staff is directed to send copies of the petition to all affected property owners requesting that they sign and return the petition. Section 3: Staff is further directed to continue to negotiate with Prudential for possible advance construction of facilities, as described in staff report 83:348. Section 4: Staff is further directed to report to the Council on the status of petition signatures further negotiations as appropriate. and Section 5: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
