CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-364 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION OF SHELL OIL <br />COMPANY AND ROBERT LEE ASSOCIATES FOR DESIGN <br />REVIEW APPROVAL FOR A SIGN PROGRAM FOR THEIR <br />SERVICE STATION ON HOPYARD ROAD AT OWENS DRIVE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of August 10, 1983, the Design <br />Review Board recommended approval of the overall <br />signing program for the Shell service station <br />which will soon be reconstructed at the southeast <br />corner of Hopyard Road and Owens Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council indicated it wished to see the signing for <br /> the station before final approval; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 23, 1983, the City Council <br /> reviewed the signing program for the Shell station; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the application of Shell Oil Company <br /> and Robert Lee Associates for design review approval <br /> for a sign program for their service station on <br /> Hopyard Road at Owens Drive (Case Z-83-163), <br /> subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />That the signing program be substantially as <br />shown on the site plan and elevations, Exhibit <br />A, on file with the Planning Division and <br />that the existing pole sign shall not be <br />increased in height, even if it is not now 30 <br />ft. <br /> <br />That there be no additional signing installed <br />on the subject property without prior City <br />approval. <br /> <br />That the applicant apply for and receive all <br />necessary building permits for the installation <br />of the signs. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 23, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />- VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
