CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-349 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE CLAIM OF UNITED PACIFIC <br />RELIANCE INSURANCE COMPANIES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on June 27, 1983, the City of Pleasanton received <br />a claim filed by United Pacific Reliance Insurance <br />Companies on behalf of their insured, C. and M., <br />Ltd. for flood damages which occurred last winter; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on August 23, 1983, the City Council reviewed the <br />claim and determined that it should be denied; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The claim of the United Pacific/Reliance Insurance <br /> Companies on behalf of their insured, C. and M., <br /> Ltd. is hereby denied. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 23, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr,Wood and Mayor Butler <br /> <br />ATTEST: ~/' ~ <br /> ROBERT' E.
