CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFOrnIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-343 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING APPEAL OF PIZZA TIME THEATRE, <br />INC. OF A DECISION OF THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD <br />DENYING THEIR APPLICATION TO RETAIN AN ILLEGAL <br />WALL SIGN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Pizza Time Theatre, Inc. made application for <br />Design Review Board approval to allow the retention <br />of an illegally installed sign on the back of the <br />Chuck E. Cheese building at 5572 Springdale Avenue <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of July 13, 1983, the Design Review <br />Board considered the application and denied it; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />within the time specified by the Ordinance Code of <br />the City of Pleasanton, the applicant submitted an <br />appeal to the City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton <br />and <br /> <br />I~tEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of August 9, 1983, the City Council <br />received a report from the Director of Planning <br />and Community Development together with a copy of <br />the staff report to the Design Review Board regarding <br />this matter; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br />time the applicant and any other member of the <br />public was offered an opportunity to present <br />evidence regarding this appeal; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Denies the appeal of Pizza Time Theatre, Inc. to <br /> a decision of the Design Review Board denying its <br /> application to retain an illegal wall sign on the <br /> Chuck E. Cheese Pizza Time Theatre located at 5572 <br /> Springdale Drive. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 9, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
