CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-338 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION EXTENDING LEASE FOR FIRE STATION <br />NO. 2 <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />for the past fourteen years, <br />has leased the house at 7769 <br />location of Fire Station No. <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton <br />Desertwood Way for the <br />2; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the most recent lease will expire on September 30, <br /> 1983; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />it will be at least another year before the new <br />location for Fire Station No. 2 will be ready for <br />occupancy and it is appropriate at this time to <br />exercise the two year option on the lease of the <br />present site; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: Approves the exercise of a one year option on <br /> the Schulte-Blackwell lease for the house at 7769 <br /> Desertwood Way. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 9, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mohr, Wood and ~{ayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Mercer <br /> <br /> YOR <br /> <br /> r <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />Brian W.
