CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 83-333 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING SALARY RANGE FOR ASSISTANT CITY ATTORNEY WHEREAS, at the time the City Council made the position of Assistant City Attorney permanent in February of 1983, no salary range was established for that position; and WHEREAS, the criteria used to set the salary includes the size of the City Attorney's office, the degree of responsibility assigned to the position and the competitive salaries in comparable cities; and WHEREAS, it is appropriate at this time to amend Resolution No. 82-411 (A Resolution Adopting a Compensation Plan Fixing Salaries and Benefits for Management and Confidential Personnel for the City of Pleasanton Not Including the City Manager and City Attorney and Repealing Resolution No. 81-357, and Amending the Budget Accordingly), by adding the position of Assistant City Attorney to Exhibit "A" of the resolution and setting the salary range at $2625- $3325 per month; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Resolution No. 82-411 is hereby amended by adding the position of Assistant City Attorney to Exhibit "A" and setting the salary range at $2625- $3325 per month. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
