CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-324 <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF SIDEWALK REPAIR ON VARIOUS CITY <br />STREETS, PROJECT NO. 83-5, AND APPROVAL OF FINAL <br />PROGRESS PAYMENT TO ANDERO CONSTRUCTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />work by Andero Construction on the sidewalk repair <br />on various City streets, Project No. B3-5, has <br />been satisfactorily completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the sidewalk repair on various City <br /> streets is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare <br /> a warrant in the amount of $8,433.39 in favor of <br /> Andero Construction in satisfaction of the final <br /> progress payment for the above-accepted work on <br /> Project No. 83-5. Ten percent (10%) of the total <br /> contract or $937.04 will be retained until thirty <br /> (30) days after filing of the Notice of ComDletion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice <br /> of Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 9, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Councilmembers Brandes, <br />None <br />Councilmember Mercer <br />None <br /> <br />Mohr, Wood and ~{ayor Butler <br /> <br /> ATTEST: ROB~E.
