CITY GoUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFOKNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-323 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE COST ACCOUNTING REPORT <br />FOR NUISANCE ABATEMENT 1983 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />abatement of weeds upon or in front of property within <br />the City of Pleasanton for those lots not abated <br />voluntarily by the owners thereof has been satis- <br />factorily completed consistent with the Drovisions <br />of the Government Code relating thereto; and <br /> <br />W~HEREAS, <br /> <br />the Fire Marshal of the City of Pleasanton has <br />prepared,based upon information furnished by the <br />City's contractor, a list of the costs on a Per <br />lot basis of abating weeds upon or in front of <br />said lots; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at their meeting of August 9, 1983, <br />reviewed the itemized list of costs, which had <br />been previously Dosted outside the City Council <br />Chambers consistent with the requirements of the <br />Government Code; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The itemized list of the weed abatement costs for <br /> 1983 contained in the report of the Fire Marshal of <br /> the City of Pleasanton Fire Department dated <br /> July 19, 1983, is hereby confirmed. <br /> <br />Section 2: The above costs of abatement are deemed by law to <br /> constitute a special assessment against and a lien <br /> upon the parcel of property, and will be added by <br /> the Treasurer-Tax Collector to the next regular <br /> tax bill for each parcel. <br /> <br /> Section 3: This resolution shall be effective immediately <br /> upon its final passage and adoDtion. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 9, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mohr, Wood and ~ayor Butler <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Mercer <br /> <br />, , .
