CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 83-320 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CHANGING THE NAME OF THORPE COURT TO <br />JOHNSON COURT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on December <br />3874, which <br />Park; and <br /> <br />13, 1982, Council approved Parcel Map <br />included streets within the Pleasanton <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the owner of the Harris Professional Building <br />expressed concern regarding the inconvenience to <br />his tenants caused by the change of the name of <br />Johnson Drive to Thorpe Court; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Director of Planning and Cormunity Development <br />presented his report (SR 83:272) to Council recommending <br />a change of the name to Johnson Court; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Council officially changes the street name of <br /> Thorpe Court to Johnson Court. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 26, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Mohr, Wood and Mayor Butler <br />Councilmember Mercer <br />Councilmember Brandes <br />None <br /> <br /> RO <br />ATTEST: BE~.~BUTLER, MAYOR <br /> <br />B D <br /> y oris George, Deputy Ctiy Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> e er Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
