CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 83-319 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE REOUEST FOR INITIATION OF <br />AJ]NEXATION PROCEEDINGS OF HELMUT STONAWSKI <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />in November of 1983, Council authorized connection <br />of the residence at 336 Sycamore Road to the City <br />sewer system subject to entering into a pre- <br />annexation agreement whereby the property would be <br />annexed to the City at such time as the City might <br />desire; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Helmut Stonawski and Adele Stonawski are now <br />requesting that the City proceed with annexation <br />of their property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Director of Public Works and Utilities presented <br />his report (SR 83:283) to Council recommending <br />denial of this request as annexation is Premature <br />due to the pending Happy Valley Annexation Study; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Council denies the request of Helmut and Adele <br /> Stonawski for initiation of annexation proceedings <br /> for the property at 336 Sycamore (northeast corner <br /> of Sunol Boulevard and Sycamore Road) and advises <br /> them that their request for annexation will again <br /> be considered after completion of the Happy Valley <br /> Annexation Study. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 26, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Mercer, ~ohr, Wood and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br /> <br />Peter D.
