WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />~EREAS, <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-316 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING REDECORATION AND RENOVATION <br />OF CENTURY HOUSE AND ALLOCATING $4,000 FOR THE <br />RENOVATION OF THE UPSTAIRS BY JIM WANBERG <br /> <br />the Evergreen Branch of the Children's Medical <br />Center of Northern California, in cooperation with <br />the City of Pleasanton, is presently coordinating <br />partial renovation and total redecoration of <br />Century House; and <br /> <br />the City staff has received two bid proposals from <br />local contractors to complete the renovation of <br />the upstairs; and <br /> <br />the bid of Jim Wanberg in the amount of $4,000 was <br />determined to be the lowest responsible bid; and <br /> <br />the Director of Recreation and Human Resources <br />presented her report (SR 83:302) outlining the <br />necessary work to be done and recommending approval <br />of a budget amendment and acceptance of the bid of <br />Mr. Wanberg: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of Jim Wanberg, in the amount of $4,000 <br /> for renovation of the upstairs of the Century <br /> House is hereby accepted by the City Council as <br /> the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br /> The City Manager is authorized to execute a <br />contract with Mr. Wanberg for the improvements <br />specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3: Authorizes an amendment to the Support Services <br /> budget for FY 1983-84 to reflect an increase of <br /> $4,000 for renovation of the upstairs of the <br /> Century House. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 26, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
