~EREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council desires to make changes to the <br />Land Use/Circulation Element of the General Plan <br />at this time as one of the three times during the <br />calendar year such changes may be made; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: The City Council approves the application of <br /> Vorelco, Inc. and Leisure Sports, Inc. to amend <br /> the General Plan land use designation for approximately <br /> 23 acres located at the southeast corner of 1-580 <br /> and 1-680 in the vicinity of 7090 Johnson Drive <br /> from "General and Limited Industrial" to "Industrial/Com- <br /> mercial and Offices", subject to the mitigating <br /> conditions attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and <br /> incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Council approves the application of the <br /> City of Pleasanton to amend the General Plan Land <br /> Use Element to include specific reference to <br /> residential population densities and commercial/indus- <br /> trial land use intensities, said changes are more <br /> specifically set forth in Exhibit "B" attached <br /> hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Council approves the application of <br /> Vintage Associates, Ltd. to amend the General Plan <br /> land use designation of 2.2 acres located at the <br /> northeast corner of Bernal (Pico) Avenue and <br /> Palomino Drive from "Commercial and Offices" <br /> to "Commercial and Offices/High Density Residential". <br /> <br />Section 4: The City Council determines that this is the second <br /> of the three times in 1983 that the Land Use <br /> Element of the General Plan may be amended as <br /> authorized by Government Code §65631. <br /> <br />Section 5: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 26, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Mercer, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />Peter D.
