~EREAS, the City Council desires to make changes to the Land Use/Circulation Element of the General Plan at this time as one of the three times during the calendar year such changes may be made; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The City Council approves the application of Vorelco, Inc. and Leisure Sports, Inc. to amend the General Plan land use designation for approximately 23 acres located at the southeast corner of 1-580 and 1-680 in the vicinity of 7090 Johnson Drive from "General and Limited Industrial" to "Industrial/Com- mercial and Offices", subject to the mitigating conditions attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by this reference. Section 2: The City Council approves the application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the General Plan Land Use Element to include specific reference to residential population densities and commercial/indus- trial land use intensities, said changes are more specifically set forth in Exhibit "B" attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. Section 3: The City Council approves the application of Vintage Associates, Ltd. to amend the General Plan land use designation of 2.2 acres located at the northeast corner of Bernal (Pico) Avenue and Palomino Drive from "Commercial and Offices" to "Commercial and Offices/High Density Residential". Section 4: The City Council determines that this is the second of the three times in 1983 that the Land Use Element of the General Plan may be amended as authorized by Government Code §65631. Section 5: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
