CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-311 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />A CHANGE TO THE GENERAL PLAN LAND USE DESIGNATION <br />OF A 2.2 ACRE SITE AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF <br />BERNAL (PICO) AVENUE AND PALOMINO DRIVE FROM <br />"COMMERCIAL OR OFFICES" TO "COMMERCIAL ~D OFFICES/ <br />HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of July 26, 1983, the City Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for a change <br />to the General Plan land use designation of a 2.2 acre <br />site at the northeast corner of Bernal (Pico) Avenue <br />and Palomino Drive from "Connnercial or Offices" to <br />"Commercial and Offices/High Density Residential;" <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated July 5, 1983 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br />time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />General Plan amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed General <br />Plan amendment would not have any significant <br />adverse effects on the environment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for a General Plan <br /> amendment changing the land use designation of a 2.2 <br /> acre site at the northeast corner of Bernal (Pico) Avenue <br /> and Palomino Drive from "Commercial or Offices" to <br /> "Commercial and Offices/High Density Residential". <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 26, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
