CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 83-311 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A CHANGE TO THE GENERAL PLAN LAND USE DESIGNATION OF A 2.2 ACRE SITE AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF BERNAL (PICO) AVENUE AND PALOMINO DRIVE FROM "COMMERCIAL OR OFFICES" TO "COMMERCIAL ~D OFFICES/ HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 26, 1983, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for a change to the General Plan land use designation of a 2.2 acre site at the northeast corner of Bernal (Pico) Avenue and Palomino Drive from "Connnercial or Offices" to "Commercial and Offices/High Density Residential;" and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated July 5, 1983 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS , a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan amendment; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan amendment would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for a General Plan amendment changing the land use designation of a 2.2 acre site at the northeast corner of Bernal (Pico) Avenue and Palomino Drive from "Commercial or Offices" to "Commercial and Offices/High Density Residential". Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 26, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE:
