CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 83-310 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />GP-83-3 MODIFICATIONS TO THE LAND USE AND CIRCU- <br />LATION ELEMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of July 26, 1983, the City Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for GP-83-3, <br />amendments to the General Plan Land Use and Circulation <br />Element; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated June 16, 1983 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br />time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />General Plan amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that <br />Plan amendment (GP-83-3) to <br />tion Element would not have <br />effects on the environment; <br /> <br />the proposed General <br />the Land Use and Circula- <br />any significant adverse <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: ADprovesthe Negative Declaration for modifications <br /> to the Land Use and Circulation Element (GP-83-3). <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 26, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Mercer, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br /> <br /> <br />
