CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-308 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF A DECISION OF THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVING A HOME OCCUPATION <br />PERMIT FOR ARNOLD KRUSE <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />Arnold Kruse applied to the Planning Commission <br />for a home occupation permit to operate a long- <br />haul trucking business from his residence at 4363 <br />Second Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of June 22, 1983, the Planning <br />Commission reviewed the application of Mr. Kruse <br />together with staff report from the Director of <br />Planning and Community Development regarding this <br />matter; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission approved the application; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />within the time specified by the Ordinance Code of <br />the City of Pleasanton, the City Council submitted <br />an appeal to the City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton; <br />and <br /> <br />~EREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of July 26, 1983, the City Council <br />received a report dated July 14, 1983 from the <br />Director of Planning and Community Development <br />together with a copy of the staff report to the <br />Planning Commission regarding this matter; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held on July 26, <br />1983 at which time the applicant and any other <br />member of the public was offered an opportunity to <br />present evidence regarding the appeal for home <br />occupation permit; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, upon the close of the public hearing, the City <br /> Council deliberated on this appeal; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Denies the appeal thereby approving the home <br /> occupation permit to allow the operation of a <br /> long-haul trucking business from the residence of <br /> Arnold Kruse at 4363 Second Street and affirms the <br /> Planning Commission decision to approve the Dermit. <br /> <br /> <br />
