City of Pleasanton's Specifications <br /> for <br /> Publishing of Legal Notices <br /> <br />Basis of Award <br /> <br />Any contract awarded as a result of this bid will be <br />based on a careful and complete evaluation of all bid <br />proposals using the specifications outlined in the bid. <br /> <br />The city of Pleasanton reserves the sole right to decide <br />whether a bid does or does not comply substantially with <br />the specifications; to accept, reject or negotiate <br />modifications in any terms of vendor's proposals or any <br />part thereof and also to waive any irregularity, informality, <br />or noncompliance with or any nonresponse to the bid or <br />any part thereof. The city of Pleasanton reserves the <br />right to accept and award a contract to other than the <br />lowest bidder. <br /> <br />Submission of Bids <br /> <br />A]I bids must be submitted on approved City of Pleasanton <br />bid forms. Bid forms are available at the Pleasanton City <br />Manager's Office, 200 Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, California. <br /> <br />Deadline for Submission of Bids <br /> <br />Sealed bids must be rec~ived by the Pleasanton city manager's <br />office no later than 2:00 p.m., ~gust 10, 1983. <br /> <br />Status of Bidder's Newspaper <br /> <br />Each bid shall indicate that it is submitted on behalf of <br />a newspaper which is a newspaper of general circulation <br />for the City of Pleasanton at the time of submission of the <br />b~d. <br /> <br />Rates <br /> <br />The rates proposed to be charged the city shall be designated <br />for each column inch for a first publication, each column inch <br />for a second publication, and each column inch for all addi- <br />tional publications. Each bid shall indicate that the rates <br />proposed to be charged the City do not exceed the customary <br />rates charged by the bidder's newspaper for the publication <br />of legal notices of a private character. <br /> <br /> <br />
