CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 83-293 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS ON DEL VALLE PARKWAY AND BERNAL (PICO) AVENUE, AUTHORIZING CALLING FOR BIDS AND ACCEPTANCE OF DEED FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities, by his report dated July 20, 1983 (SR 83:278), advised the City Council that plans and specifications had been completed for the construction of the extension of Bernal (Pico) Avenue to Del Valle Parkway and the extension of Del Valle Parkway to the existing street, thus completing the connection between Stanley Boulevard and Vineyard Avenue, and that said plans have been reviewed by staff; and WHEREAS, the City is in receipt of a Grant Deed from Frank Auf der Maur and Konrad Rickenbach for the necessary right-of-way to construct the above-described improvements; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 26, 1983, the City Council reviewed the report of the Director of Public works and Utilities relating to the project and which indicated acceptance of the right-of-way deed is in the public interest; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the plans and specifications for the construction of the extension of Bernal (Pico) Avenue to Del Valle Parkway thus completing the connection between Stanley Boulevard and Vineyard Avenue. Section 2: Authorizes the calling for bids for the above project. Section 3: The deed from Frank Auf der Maur and Konrad Rickenbach to the City of Pleasanton for street right-of-way is hereby accepted and the appropriate City officers are instructed to take whatever action necessary to implement said acceptance. Section 4: Agrees that the cost for that portion of the work as described in the letter to the City Council dated July 25, 1983 from Frank Auf der Maur and Konrad Rickenbach, a copy of which is attached hereto, need
