CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 83-292 <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF IMPROVEMENT PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS <br />AND AGREEMENT FOR VALLEY AVENUE LANDSCAPE <br />I~ROVEMENT AND MASONRY SOUNDWALL BY SENTE <br />ASSOCIATES SEVEN AND VALLEY BUSINESS ASSOCIATES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Sente Associates Seven and Valley Business Associates, <br />the developers of Tract 4889, Valley Business Park, <br />have offered to improve Valley Avenue by installing <br />landscaping along the southern portion of Valley <br />Avenue and a nine foot masonry soundwall between <br />Santa Rita Road and Kolln Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the project also includes the installation of an <br />eight foot high masonry soundwall along the western <br />boundary line of Tract 4889 which is required by <br />Ordinance No. 1084 (modification to case PUD-79-13); <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Director of Public Works and Utilities, by his <br />report dated July 20, 1983, advised the City Council <br />that plans and specifications for the proposed <br />improvements had been completed and reviewed by <br />staff and an agreement preDared regarding this project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the plans and specifications for the <br /> Valley Avenue landscape improvements and masonry <br /> soundwall between Santa Rita Road and Kolln Street <br /> and the soundwall along the western boundary line <br /> of Tract 4889, Valley Business Park. <br /> <br />Section 2: Approves the agreement between the City of <br /> Pleasanton and Sente Associates Seven and Valley <br /> Business Associates, a coDy of which is attached <br /> hereto and incorporated herein by this reference, <br /> regarding the above-described improvements and <br /> authorizes the mayor to execute said agreement. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 26, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
