AGR£EMENT <br /> <br /> THIS ACREEDIE',VT is made and entered into this day <br /> <br />of 19~23, by and between THE PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE <br /> <br />COMPANY OF AMERICA~ a New Jersey corporation, (hereinafter <br />referred to as "Prudential") and the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a <br />municipal corporation, (herei. nafter referred to as "City"). <br /> <br /> RECITALS <br /> <br /> A. Prudential, as one of the major developers of the <br />North Pleasanton industrial/commercial area, has volunteered <br />to construct major improvements to Santa Rite Road and StoneridEe <br />Drive in advance of their contemDlated construction by an <br />assessment district in order to provide timely, uninterrupted <br />access to their Hacienda Business Park nroject. <br /> <br /> B. Prudential has entered into agreements, dated <br /> <br />June 28, 1983, March 12, 1983 and May 16, 1983, with the City <br />to construct certain portions of Stoneridge Drive and Santa Rita <br />Road. In order to complete these roadway imorovements, certain <br />lands must be acquired, including certain easements across <br /> <br />U. S. Government o~med lands at Parks Reserve Forces Training <br />Area along portions of both Stoneridge Drive and Santa Rita <br />Road, <br /> <br /> C. Prudential desires to enter and use the proposed <br />easement areas in advance of negotiations, processing, execution, <br />and delivery of the formal easement documents. <br /> <br /> D.
