All additional investigations <br />that may be required shall be construed as <br />extraordinary professional services as set <br />forth in subsection "C" herein. <br />On-Site Field Investigation Services <br /> <br />On-site field investigation services will be <br />performed by R. L. Kautz & Co. and invoiced through <br />its subsidiary company, Diversified Adjustment <br />Services. The hourly charge, not including travel <br />time, will be at the rate of twenty-seven dollars <br />fifty cents ($27.50). Mileage expense will <br />be charged at the rate of thirty cents ($0.30) <br />per mile. Photo expense will be charged at <br />the rate of one dollar ($1.00) per photo. Bridge <br />tolls and parking expense will be charged as <br />actually incurred. It is agreed between the <br />parties that the distance from Contractor's <br />office to the City Hall of the City of Pleasanton <br />is eighteen (18) miles. <br /> <br />Allocated Expenses and Additional Investigative <br />ExDenses. City agrees to pay for the cost of <br />extraordinary investigative services where expert <br />and professional assistance is required (including <br />anv such work performed by Kautz), such as <br /> <br />professional photography, <br />examinations, laboratorv <br />from witnesses away from <br />copying medical <br /> <br /> independent medical <br /> services, taking statements <br /> <br /> the premises of Contractor, <br />and other records, trial preparation <br /> <br /> <br />
